According to a report by the “Daily Mail”, the actor was admitted to a hospital after falling about 32 kilometers outside of London while filming in the Leavesden Studios in Watford. According to the British newspaper, he is said to have hit his head. Holland’s father Dominic announced during a charity on Sunday, September 21, that his son would not be filmed “for a while”. As “Hollywood Reporter” reported, those responsible for the production company want to meet on Monday to discuss the further procedure.

Sony Pictures announced in April at Cinemacon 2025 that the next film of the Spider-Man series will be entitled “Brand New Day”. A few months earlier, Holland had already confirmed that his fourth Spider-Man film would be shot in 2025.

Holland and his partner Zendaya (29) – who also played in the films – were photographed at the set of the film in London in early August. On August 10, Holland divided a video on Instagram with recordings of his first day of shooting the eagerly awaited sequel in Scotland. Since then, the actor has been spotted several times during shooting in Great Britain.

Film is scheduled to come to cinemas in July 2026

Holland embodies Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the Marvel universe since “The First Avenger: Civil War” from 2016. The actor has indicated in recent years that he will be creatively involved in his fourth Spider-Man solo film. Mark Ruffalo (57) returns as Hulk, Jon Bernthal (49) embodies Punisher. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is scheduled to come to German cinemas on July 30, 2026.
