In 1993, Prince Harry visited Disney World with his brother and mother Disney World – an experience that he remembered well.
Prince Harry (41) and Duchess Meghan (44) told Disneyland about their most beautiful childhood memories to Disneyland and Disney World in a special program-including Harry’s visit with his mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997) and Prince William (43) in 1993. Princess Lilibet.
“In all the characters, the version lost”
The Sussexes could be seen in the program “The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland”, which was broadcast on Sunday by ABC News, and both told about their visits to the Disney theme parks as children. Prince Harry remembered his visit to Disney World in Florida in August 1993 when he was eight years old. “I was there with my mother and my brother. I remember very, very well. I still know that as a child I lost the version with all the characters. Really crazy.” Space Mountain is his favorite attraction since childhood. He remembered: “I kept driving in a circle – ten, maybe twelve times.”
Duchess Meghan said that the amusement park was “more accessible” for her because she was born and grew up in Southern California, but it was “the greatest pleasure in the world”. One of her memories is to visit Disneyland to the closing ceremony when the high school graduates visit the park after the shop closes. “I don’t even know why they allow us!”, She said, and Prince Harry threw in: “That sounds after a lot. Can you still do it with over 40?”
“You will be carved right away”
In June, Meghan and Harry celebrated their fourth birthday of their daughter with a family trip to the Disneyland Anaheim. Now they revealed that Archies (6) and Lilis excitement began before they even entered the park. “You said: ‘This is incredible!’,” Rememonizes the father of two of his children’s reaction. He then thought: “‘People, that’s not even the front of it. Get ready. You will be carved right away.'”
Harry continued in the interview: “To see how the children plunge into these experiences without knowing what to expect – that was incredible. And the child wakes up again in one.” The celebrations included driving various attractions, trying out treats and admiring a birthday cake with Arielle, the mermaid as a decoration.
The TV special also contained interviews with Neil Patrick Harris, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jon Favreau and Tiffany Haddish. The amusement park in Anaheim celebrated its 70th anniversary on July 17th. The anniversary celebrations began on May 16 and lasted until summer 2026.
