Did he die because of failure to help?

Mike Heslin’s husband is suing a restaurant in Las Vegas for negligent killing. His allegation: failures in first aid.

The husband of the late “Lioness” star Mike Heslin makes serious allegations. Scotty Dynamo filed a lawsuit against the Aria Resort and Casino, which operates Javier’s Las Vegas restaurant, where Heslin collapsed around three months ago. According to court documents, Dynamo accuses the operators negligent killing due to failure to help. The lawsuit submitted on September 18 comprises five charges – including negligence and gross negligence.

Heslin was only 30 years old when he died on July 2. His husband confirmed and wrote: “After a one -week battle in the hospital, my husband, best friend and soul mate died of an unexpected cardiac arrest. Michael was young, with perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what has happened.”

Restaurant staff is said to have watched stand

The lawsuit draws a dramatic picture of what is happening in the restaurant. Heslin ate with two friends in Javier when he suddenly collapsed. His companions apparently reacted immediately-they called for help and cleared tables to make room for first aid measures.

Several employees of the restaurant came to the scene of the accident and had recognized the obvious signs of medical emergency. Nevertheless, they would have “watched idle” and “did not take immediate life -saving measures”, according to the indictment. Particularly explosive: When a woman with the cardiac massage began, an employee is said to have prevented her “violently” and interrupted the life -saving measures.

Allegations weigh heavily

The accusations against the restaurant weigh heavily. Dynamo accuses the defendant to have failed to alert trained staff. An automatic external defibrillator (AED) is said to have been available on site, but it was apparently not used. The lawsuit therefore criticizes the lack of an “emergency protocol” that may have saved his partner’s life.
