Iron Maiden and Volbeat at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park
The line-up for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park is growing: In addition to Linkin Park as headliners, other bands have now been announced. If you still want a ticket, you shouldn’t take much time.
After more than ten years, the metal band Iron Maiden returns to the Rock am Ring and Rock in the park. The only two festivals that Iron Maiden will play next year were said. Most recently, the British band was on the ring and in the park in 2014.
The Danish metal band Volbeat was also confirmed for the festivals at the Nürburgring and in Nuremberg 2026. The band’s only Germany shows are the band, it said. It was already certain that Linkin Park will play as headliner at both festivals. The twin festivals will take place in the coming year from June 5th to June 7th.
“Realway simply overwhelming”
70,000 weekend tickets have already been sold for the festival in the Eifel. “The response to Rock am Ring 2026 is simply overwhelming,” said Matt Schwarz, CEO of Prk Dreamhaus and organizer of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
40,000 tickets have already been sold for Rock im Park – this has also not existed at such an early stage. Both festivals were sold out in 2025 with around 90,000 visitors each.
So far, the organizer has announced 20 bands of the line-up, including The Offspring, Marteria, Papa Roach, Electric Callboy and Limp Bizkit. For Nuremberg there are now day tickets for 139 euros. There are only weekend tickets for Rock am Ring.
