“Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure celebrated the 38th series birthday on Instagram. She shared rare photos for the anniversary.

Candace Cameron Bure (49) celebrated the 38th anniversary of “Full House”. that were created behind the scenes. Bure portrayed the eldest daughter DJ Tanner in sitcom.



“What a wonderful journey full of laughter, lessons and a lot of love,” Bure wrote in the caption. “Full house was my childhood, my family, my home. I am grateful forever,” continued Bure.

In addition to known pictures with the line -up, Bure also published personal photos. In one picture she poses with Bob Saget, who played her father Danny Tanner on the show. In the last slide you can see a video in which Saget surprises the actress with a touching video message. Saget died on January 9, 2022 at the age of 65.


More pictures show Bure with their arms around Jodie Sweetin (43) and Andrea Barber (49). Sweetin played her little sister Stephanie in the series. Barber represented her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler.

Successful sitcom

“Full House” was a quota hit for the American broadcaster ABC and ran on TV from 1987 to 1995. The series comprises a total of eight seasons. In 2016 the spin-off “Fuller House” followed, which ran on Netflix for five seasons. Bure slipped into the role of DJ Tanner for the successor series.
