“It’s real and I have been talking to Warner Bros. about it,” said the director of terror to Fangoria magazine before the digital premiere of the film. “There is a story and I am very excited. They are not nonsense”.

Cregger added that the conversations were also independent of the success of the box office and critics of Weapons, and that the gestation of the idea was prior to its collection in the US of almost 150 million dollars (and 263 million dollars accumulated worldwide) compared to a budget of less than 40 million dollars.
“I was ready,” Cregger said about the prequel. “I already had it in my pocket before the movie was released.”
The Deadline portal confirmed last month that New Line Cinema, WBD’s subsidiary, was in preliminary conversations for a prologue. At that time, it was not clear in which quality Cregger would participate in the project, since it is currently restarting resident Evil For Sony Pictures and will subsequently work in Flooda science fiction film for which the script is over.
Madigan, whose aunt Gladys has conquered the world, added about whether he would return to a sequel: “It is not that he discarded it, but in this business, nothing is real until it is. I had a great time working with Zach and knowing his brain. That is the true gift of the film’s result. The rest has to do with all kinds of conversations in which I would never participate and business things like that. But, you know, I love Gladys, so I’ll leave it there. “
