Vincent Gross plays guest role in Telenovela “Red Rosen”
Schlager singer Vincent Gross stands for the first time for a TV role in front of the camera. In “Red Rosen” he plays an arrogant influencer – and describes what particularly impressed him on the set.
Singer Vincent Gross (29) is said to perform as an influencer for the ARD telenovela “Red Rosen” in a guest role. The Swiss musician completed a day of shooting and will appear in several TV scenes-with a speech text. “I think they came up with my Instagram videos,” said Gross of the German Press Agency. He hadn’t gained acting experience before, “but I’ve always been in the mood for it”.
The musician was impressed by the filming on the set in Lüneburg. “It’s a huge studio. It’s really overwhelming. Everyone here is professional and the team is huge,” he said. The acting was “a lot of fun because it is something new”.
Gross: Role “a bit arrogant”
Gross said to his role that he had “had the influencer” a little more arrogant “. That was entertaining, “but it is also very uncomfortable because I know how embarrassing such people are in real life”. He left open whether he wanted to act more often in the future: “I liked it very much and let’s see what the future brings.”
Great is known as a hit and pop singer with songs such as “Ouzo” and “Aperol Spritz” and has already placed several albums in the German charts. The daily series “Red Rosen” has been running on ARD since 2006 and is one of the most durable Telenovelas on German television with more than 4,000 episodes.
