Alexandra Grant denies marriage speculations
A press spokeswoman had already denied the wedding rumors, now Keanu Reeves’ partner Alexandra Grant also reacted.
No yes word for Keanu Reeves (61): The artist Alexandra Grant (52) reacted humorously to circulating wedding rumors with her partner on Wednesday. She posted the couple on a kiss and clearly made it clear that no marriage had taken place.
“This is a real photo. Not a engagement photo or a AI-generated wedding announcement … just a kiss!”, Grant wrote about the recording that she and Reeves show when visiting the Roden Crater, an art installation by the artist James Turrell in Arizona. Self -depreconally added: “Although it may have been the moment right in front of it or after … in view of our somewhat silly facial expressions!”
The 52-year-old used the post humorously to thank her fans for the numerous congratulations, but at the same time to end speculation. “I share this here to thank you for the congratulations on our wedding,” said Grant. “Only we didn’t get married.”
Warning of false reports
With a swipe on the spread of unchecked messages, the artist warned: “Good news is urgently needed these days, but they are still fake news – so be careful out there! There is a bit of real luck here!”
The rumor mill had been bubbling for an alleged wedding for days. Keanu Reeves’ press spokeswoman had recently spoken out and denied the reports with clear words. “E! News,” she said: “This is not true. You are not married.”
Reeves and Grant have been officially together since 2019. Since then they have shown themselves together on the red carpet, but there are no many details from their private life. “The good news, if you fall in love as an adult, is that at the time when my relationship began my own career, I had built up my own career,” Grant explained to the “People” magazine 2023 in a rare private interview. The couple feel comfortable both together and alone – in the best sense it is “dependent on each other and at the same time independent”.
