Wrestler Ava Raine: Dwayne Johnson with daughter on a red carpet

Rare father-daughter appearance on the red carpet in London: At the premiere of his new film “The Smashing Machine”, leading actor Dwayne Johnson (53) brought special accompaniment. His daughter Simone Alexandra Garcia Johnson (24) was alongside the Hollywood star.

Like Papa Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, his daughter is also a professional wrestler. Better known under her stage name Ava Raine, the 24-year-old is under contract with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and appears as General Manager of the NXT brand.

At the glamorous film premiere in London, Ava Raine wore a black, floor -length dress with floral details. She combined black shoes with chunky heels and a choker necklace. Papa Dwayne wore a casual navy blade suit with a white shirt and wide collar. In addition, black leather shoes and subtle glasses.

The duo accompanied Johnson’s co-actress, the British actress Emily Blunt (42). Other stars from the film such as Benny Safdie (39), Tatyanna Dumas (25) and Jack Farthing (39) also stepped over the red carpet. On Monday, Dwayne Johnson already presented the film in Berlin.

“The Smashing Machine” is a biopic about the former mixed martial arts fighter Mark Kerr (56). Johnson did an incredible optical change for the leading role and decreased almost thirty kilos. He embodies the MMA-Fighter Kerr, who was one of the best in the world in the 1990s, but also fought with addiction and personal problems. Co-star Emily Blunt plays Kerr’s wife Dawn Staples at the time, a dry alcoholic from Arizona who married Mark Kerr in Las Vegas. The cinema release in Germany is on October 2, 2025.
