The new James Bond should be young, British and unknown
Prominent names have been traded as possible James Bond candidates for years. But director Denis Villeneuve does not want to search for a new 007 until next year – for very specific criteria.

The search for a successor for Daniel Craig should only really start in the coming year. The 007 makers are also looking for a “fresh face”. According to this, director Denis Villeneuve only wants to search for a leading actor for his James Bond film after completing the filming for “Dune III” and does not rely on established stars. According to insiders, the role is to be filled by a rather unknown actor who is 20 or early 30. The famous secret agent is also to be played by a British.
The next James Bond film has been the first since the long-time producer Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson submitted creative control over the popular film series to Amazon MGM Studios.
