Mariah Carey: sang an opera song with my mother as a child
As a child of her mother, Mariah Carey joined her mother while practicing opera songs. The singer says that her mother then became a little clear.
Pop star Mariah Carey tells how she revealed her musical talent with an opera song as a child of her mother. “My mother was an opera singer and always sang in German or in a different language,” said the 56-year-old in the US talk show “Live with Kelly and Mark”.
“Once she was practicing and she made a mistake and she stopped and I continued to sang the line she had just sung,” says Carey. She was about four years old and her mother then said herself: “Okay, she obviously has good hearing”.
On Friday, Carey released her new album “Here for IT All”. It has been her first studio album since “Caution”, which was released in 2018.
