After reporting on a hospital visit, “Star Trek” actor William Shatner spoke up with his fans. The Canadian also makes fun of “very exaggerated rumors”.
“Star Trek” legend William Shatner gives the all-clear: The actor exaggerated it while eating and landed in the hospital-now he makes fun of the headlines. According to media reports on his visit to the hospital, he had contacted his fans with a calming message. “Thank you all for your sympathy, but I’m fine,” wrote Shatner on Instagram. “I keep telling you: don’t trust the gossip or AI!”
On Wednesday, the “TMZ” industry portal reported that Shatner was taken to the hospital for a “medical emergency”. The Canadian now announced that he had “a bit exaggerated” – apparently while eating. To do this, he posted a picture of himself in the role of the writer Mark Twain in the television series “Murdoch Mysteries” and the words: “The rumors about my death are very exaggerated!” – a quote that is often attributed to Twain.
In the comments fans expressed their relief and affection for the Captain Kirk actor. “I’m glad you are fine. I almost started crying,” wrote, among other things.
