Return from the baby break for anniversary celebration
In February, Princess Sofia of Sweden gave birth to her child. Now she returned from the baby break for a special occasion.
After her seven -month baby break for daughter Ines, Princess Sofia of Sweden (40) showed herself again on Thursday at a royal appointment. Together with husband Carl Philip (46), she celebrated the 15th anniversary of “Project Playground” – the children’s rights organization, which is particularly important to her.
For the special occasion, the four -fold mother wore a two -part in Petrol, consisting of a wide pants and a long top. To do this, she combined a black clutch and subtle silver jewelry. As usual, she wore her hair in loose waves, dark pumps rounded off the look perfectly. Prince Carl Philip also chose classic elegance and appeared in the dark blue suit. So the couple posed for the photographers with a smile.
Celebrate in a special place
The venue in the toy museum on the island of Skeppsholmen is also of particular importance for the couple: Here Sofia and Carl Philip invited their wedding guests to dinner on the evening before their wedding ceremony. At that time, almost 270 invited guests celebrated the island in the underground tunnel system – exactly where the anniversary celebration took place.
Princess Sofia, then Sofia Hellqvist, launched “Project Playground” in 2010 together with her friend Frida Vesterberg. The organization supports programs that are intended to convey self -confidence, emotional intelligence and resilience. The gala in the toy museum collected further donations for disadvantaged children and young people with speeches and musical appearances.
Princess Ines travels with
For the Swedish Royal, it was one of the first major public appearances since her daughter Ines was born in February. In June, she had recently briefly reported from the baby break to take part in the board meeting and the annual general meeting of the charity organization. The palace had previously stated that Sofia would make less official appointments due to the birth of her daughter.
On Skeppsholmen, the little princess Ines was now there: pictures show how a nanny shouted the baby in the stroller during the appearance of her parents.
