Edith and Eric Stehfest: The reality TV couple broke up

Marriage at the standing festivals: Eric Stehfest (36) announces that he and his wife Edith (30) go their separate ways after almost ten years together. “Edith and I separated. A difficult time for us as a family, so we ask you for respect,” writes the former “GZSZ” actor.

Stehfest emphasizes that despite the separation, the two want to remain a team – especially for their two children together Aaron Amadeus (9) and Aria Litera (4). “It was not an easy decision for us, but the best for everyone involved,” explains the actor.

The love between Eric and Edith Stehfest was like a roller coaster ride from the start. They got to know each other in 2014 when the musician recorded the singing for one of his projects. A year later, in November 2015, they said yes, two children together made the family completely.

In the past, however, there had always been crises in marriage. In the past year, Edith Stehfest even moved out at times because she had “used”, as her husband explained at the time. Above all, the mental problems of the former jungle camp candidate are said to have heavily burdened the marriage. At the beginning of 2025, the two tried to deny separation rumors. “We are not separated. To make it clear,” emphasized Eric Stehfest at the time.

So far, Edith Stehfest has not commented on the marriage. In the past few weeks, however, she has already spread: On September 1, she said goodbye to her fans for three weeks to feel again after an “intensive time”, “who you are and where you belong. Letting go, breathing a bit”. After the three weeks, she reported back from the Thailand vacation – with a video in which she had the face tattoo common with her husband overlook or change.

She also shared, who shows her at the piano while singing a sad ballad. “At that moment she didn’t know that she would lose him just a few days later,” wrote Stehfest.
