He has been smoke -free for 15 years – but Dietmar Bär (64) still struggles to have reached into a cigarette at all. The actor tells of his greatest remorse: “Stop smoking immediately! I would advise my 40 -year -old I advise.”

Smoking Lunge is “really in the Reue corner”, Bär continues. “It is insane that I didn’t strain it earlier. I started at 19 and stopped at 42. If you never smoked yourself, you may not understand that quitting can be a real life of life.”

The rethink came through the well -known book “Finally non -smoker”, which he read through in just one day. “The next morning was day 1 of my smoke -free life,” he says. Today he would recommend everyone to swear the cigarettes immediately.

The book “Finally non-smoker” (1985) by all Carr (1934-2006) conveys a method with which smokers can quit smoking in a simple and sustainable way without great will. Carr describes his own many years of experience as a strong smoker and explains that dependence is primarily psychologically shaped. The method aims to change the minds of the smokers so that they do not feel the quit as a waiver or struggle, but as a liberation and profit.

And what else does the Cologne “Tatort” commissioner regret? “Foreign languages ​​not pursuing further” is on his list of failures. He has a blatant deficits in English in particular – the feeling is particularly great “because I work professionally with language”.

Dietmar Bär has been playing the Commissioner Freddy Schenk in the Cologne “Tatort” since 1997 alongside Klaus J. Behrendt (65) alias Max Ballauf. Incidentally, he has also sworn off smoking: While his figure was still happy to reach the cigarette in the early years, this has recently been noticeably reduced.
