Taylor Swift will be a guest at Jimmy Fallon just three days after the release of her new album “The Life of a Showgirl”.
The pop icon Taylor Swift (35) has confirmed another television appearance: On Monday, October 6th, the singer will be a guest in the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. The show officially announced on Thursday.
The appearance with moderator Jimmy Fallon (51) takes place only three days after the publication of Swift’s twelfth studio album “The Life of a Showgirl”, which will be released on October 3. For the 35-year-old, it will already be the seventh visit to the popular late night show.
“Showgirl” note as an announcement
Fallon announced the guest in an exceptional way: In an Instagram clip in the Las Vegas style, the moderator played roulette and targeted the numbers 6, 10 and 25. When the ball finally landed on the 13-Swift’s lucky number-Fallon was disappointed with the supposed loss.
“Baby, that’s Show Business for Youu”, he commented on the situation with a sentence that Swift regularly used in the announcement of her new album. The video ended with three women disguised as show girls, one of whom said to Fallon: “Excuse US, Honey.” As a caption, the show chose the sentence “Not a lot on at the moment”-an allusion to Swift’s famous T-shirt from the “22” music video from 2013.
Her last appearance on the “Tonight Show” was two years ago when she presented her tenth studio album “Midnights” in 2022. In addition to Swift, actress Keri Russell (49) is also expected on the show. The band The Format appears as a musical guest.
Taylor Swift is also a guest in this show in October
Taylor Swift announced the new album “The Life of a Show Girl” in August during the “New Heights” podcast episode of her fiance Travis Kelce (35) and his brother Jason Kelce (37). Among other things, the album contains a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter (26).
On October 3, the day of the album releases, Swift is also where she takes a seat alongside Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and others on the famous red sofa. It will be your fifth visit to the show.
