Freddy Quinn becomes 94: Schlager legend lives “from day to day”

Schlager star Freddy Quinn celebrates his 94th birthday on September 27 – and can also imagine many more. “Who knows that? Why should it be at 100? I have not set myself a goal. Rosi and I live from day to day. We never get bored,” he emphasized.

Quinn also showed this in 2023 when he married his long-time partner Rosi Nidl-Petz at the proud age of 91. “I am very aware of which phase of life I am in. In view of his age, he also deals with the question of what comes after death. “It is difficult for me to imagine that. But I am pretty sure that there is a force. He was very aware of this when his first wife Lilli Blessmann died, who died in 2008. “Back then I prayed because I didn’t want to accept it just that. He has hope and belief in love.

But Freddy Quinn is still in the middle of life, even wants to move his wife to an old farm near Hamburg. The two maintain a relaxed everyday life. “We sleep for a long time, have breakfast comfortably, spend time in the garden.” The couple also enjoys occasional restaurant visits with friends.
