Stefanie Stahl wants to stop writing books after her next work. There will be another film for her greatest success.
Bestselling author Stefanie Stahl (61) apparently wants to give up writing books after her next work. The: “I’ll get to the point again. I can do that well. And that was it for me with the book letter. I have no more to say.”
She is not a big friend of sequels and spin-offs, says Stahl. That is why it remained with “The child has to find home”, explains the 61-year-old, who conquered the bestseller lists with this book and many others. Now she wanted to write a book, “and that will probably be my last one,” she added in the “Noz” interview.
This is supposed to be an essay book: “This time I do not want to interfere with a topic, but to write essays on very different psychological topics. There are many psychological topics that I find very exciting, but they do not find an entire book,” says Stefanie Stahl, who is active as a psychologist, psychotherapist, author and podcaster. “You can just read crossing if you want, even on the toilet.”
So the film becomes “the child has to find home”
For Stefanie Stahl, the film adaptation of her success “The child has to find home must be found”. She now explains: “This will be a drama comedy. The authors have come up with a feature film act. And the highlight is that the shadow children – i.e. the child’s shares of the main characters – get their own roles in the film. But it is really not easy.” Four script versions have already failed, according to the bestselling author, “but the fifth will now. In the next step we think about the line -up. And there are very big names in the game”.
