Was that after 19 years of marriage? As several US media report, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are said to have separated. Among other things, “TMZ” reports that Urban moved out of the common house in Nashville in summer and that a new place to stay was in the country music capital.
The two Australians met at an Australia event in 2005 in Los Angeles. Kidman had separated from Tom Cruise a few years earlier, with whom she was married for eleven years. Immediately afterwards, Kidman’s steep climb began in Hollywood. For Moulin Rouge, she was first nominated for an Oscar in 2002, and in 2003 she received the award as the best leading actress in “The Hours”. “A work emerged from my divorce that received a lot of applause. That was an interesting thing for me,” said Kidman in an interview with the “Telegraph”.
Together, Urban and Kidman were almost inseparable. Just six months after their first date, they said yes in Sydney, with film premieres, concerts, award ceremonies and also sporting events, the two were regularly photographed together.
