Boyzone makes stage comeback

The stars for Ronan Keating are no longer “boys”. But for their fans they want to bring the feeling of the 90s on stage again – at least once.

Are the 90s back? At least as far as music is concerned, you could sometimes get the impression. According to Oasis, the Irish boy band Boyzone has now announced a return to the stage – but only once. “We will once again be on stage for a unique show in the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, June 6, 2026,” said the band’s Instagram account around Ronan Keating (48). Tickets for the London concert are therefore available from October 7th.

Boyzone celebrated great success in the 90s, especially in Ireland and Great Britain and also ended up in the top ten several times in Germany – for example with the cover songs “No Matter What” from a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and “Words” from Bee Gees. But their albums also sold excellently. After the separation, Keating was particularly successful as a solo artist. Stephen Gately died in 2009 at the age of only 33 in Mallorca.

“Why not Dublin where you come from?”

Some fans on Instagram did not find that the Irish band, which is now only a four -member Irish band in London, was planning their only appearance. “Shocking! London,” wrote a user. “Why not Dublin, where you come from?” Wrote another.

But hopes for a second appearance or even a tour should be in vain. The concert in the stadium of the English football team Arsenal FC with a capacity of 44,000 spectators is the first joint appearance since 2019 and will be the only concert in 2026, the announcement said.
