Surprise at the YSL show in Paris: Madonna performed with daughter Lourdes – and the two kissed in front of the cameras.
The Paris Fashion Week is known for spectacular appearances – at the Yves Saint Laurent Show on Monday evening Madonna (67) and her daughter Lourdes Leon (28) provided a big surprise. In front of the photographers, the two exchanged a playful kiss on their mouths.
Glamorous staging in front of the Eiffel Tower
Designer Anthony Vaccarello had chosen an impressive setting for the presentation of the spring/summer collection 2026: the Eiffel Tower formed a dramatic backdrop, and the showroom was decorated with the YSL logo from white hydrangea. No costs were spared, neither for the opulent staging nor for the illustrious guest list.
Madonna and Lourdes in the spotlight
Music superstar Madonna appeared in a black leather blazer and a black top skirt – in the style of the brand: sexy, rebellious, timeless. At her side: Daughter Lourdes in an elegant black lingerie dress with a V-neck. Both carried pumps over the silk tights. While Mama Madonna had a sunglasses, gloves and a thick scarf, her daughter only combined a small golden handbag with a poor outfit.
Together they posed for the cameras, and to the delight of the photographers, the arm-in-arm team even gave itself a kiss on their mouths.
A front Row full of icons
And the list of other guests also read like a “Who’s Who” of the fashion and film world. . As a muse of the house, Kate Moss (51) only wore an iconic tuxedo blazer, combined with tights and heels – daring and minimalistic.
Oscar winner Renée Zellweger (56) kept it more subtle and appeared in an elegant suit. Carla Bruni (57) presented a sun yellow look with silk dress and fur coat.
Eva Herzigová, Linda Evangelista and Amber Valletta were on site. Hailey Bieber, Zoe Kravitz, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Iris Law, Charli XCX and Catherine Deneuve also appeared.
Leather, trench coats and Parisian coolness
The fashion itself was in no way inferior to the glamor of the guests. Vaccarello relied on clear shapes, lots of leather and flowing trench coats from parachute silk and lots of lingerie-inspired looks. The designer balanced between classics and provocation.
