In Hamburg, the biopic “Olivia” was presented in the presence of numerous stars, which tells the life story of Kiez size Olivia Jones.
As part of the Hamburg Film Festival, the biopic “Olivia” celebrated its premiere in the Hanseatic city “Olivia” about the eventful life of the well -known dragqueen Olivia Jones (55). Numerous well-known friends of the neighborhood legend did not miss the opportunity to take part in the emotional event. On the red carpet, Jones beamed with the other drag pioneer Lilo Wanders (70). Claudia Obert (64) and Julian FM Stoeckel (38) as well as Guido Maria Kretschmer (60) and Annette Frier (51), who embodied the mother of the title figure in the film, also honored Jones.
Of course, the other stars of ZDF production, which Jones’ youth to promotion in the dazzling Hamburg drag scene, also were on site. In photos of the event, Jones together with “Olivia” director Till Endemann and the two actors who embody them in the strip poses: The adult version is played in the film by Johannes Hegemann, the 13-year-old Arian Wegener mimed is meanwhile the young Oliver Knöbel, as the travesty cult figure is called with a bourgeois name.
Film comes in 2026
The film is based on Jones’ autobiography “without make -up. So far, the ZDF has not yet announced a precise broadcast date from “Olivia”. However, this is firmly planned for 2026.
