Ex-moderator Gerhard Delling is Christina Block’s partner-and is on trial with her. In an interview, he defends block and criticizes ex-husband Stephan Hensel.
Steak house heiress Christina Block has been on trial for several weeks. The accusation: she is said to have been involved in the kidnapping of her children from Denmark. With her, six more accused sit on the dock, including Block’s partner Gerhard Delling. The former sports moderator is accused of the aid, but denies every guilt.
In an interview with the magazine, he now describes his view. He rejects the accusation that Christina Block had abused her children-an assertion that Blocks ex-husband Stephan Hensel had raised in court. “This is another ‘oddity’, which Mr. Hensel constantly depicted differently and unfortunately also published again and again,” said Delling. “If I had ever noticed violence, I would certainly not have stayed with Christina.” He emphasizes that several institutions, including the Higher Regional Court, have not found any evidence of violence.
Gerhard Delling about Christina Block: “She doesn’t let her children down!”
It was pointed out that the children Johanna, Klara and Theo had previously stated that they had been beaten by their mother and were afraid of her, Delling replied that the children had never commented in this way. “These children loved their mother intimately and deep.” The child’s deprivation by the father “destroyed everything”.
He also accuses Hensel of ignoring a “supreme judge” and threatening the Block family. In addition, Hensel had illegally kept the children in Denmark, registered them there under false information in school and isolated them in his house. Christina Block was not guilty, said Delling. As a “loving but responsible mother” she had to fight for the situation to dissolve. “She doesn’t let her children down! Otherwise she would be a raven mother.”
When asked about Hensel’s motifs, Delling replies: “As I have learned, it is almost always about offended vanity and not infrequently about money. And often it has to do with a mental disorder of people.”
Delling does not comment directly on the accusation of child abduction. Despite the stressful evidence, he stays on Christina Block’s side. “Above all, it has to be about that Children go! And dealing with the mother should take place as soon as possible. “Because if the current state is not dissolved, Delling said, the children could never be unencumbered.
