Rapper P. Diddy is currently sitting in the New York court to receive his judgment, but the judges’ statements do not sound so rosy.
One day before the verdict, which takes place today on Friday, October 3, P. Diddy sent a wine letter to the court. With the judge, however, this seems to have been less well received, as he now showed through in the process.
In his letter, Diddy wrote that he had learned a lot during his detention in the past 13 months. He admitted that his “decline was rooted in his self -addiction”. With regard to the video in which he struck Cassie, he confessed: “I was completely wrong” and explained that he did not know if he could have forgive someone who would have treated one of his daughters like this.
He emphasized that he had lived soberly in prison for the first time in 25 years and asked for mercy. He admitted that he had “abandoned” his children, but now wanted to get the chance to be there for her. He also explained to want to take care of his 84-year-old mother, who recently survived a brain surgery.
Diddy described the hard conditions in prison in Brooklyn and said that he had not expected pity, but was very afraid for his life. He assured that the time behind bars put him off. In the end, he asked the judge to give him the opportunity to “live a better son, father, community leader – and once again a better life”.
Judge of P. Diddy’s pleading unimpressed
During the judgment of the judgment, the judge expressed himself Arun Subramanian unimpressed by the rapper’s late repentance and says: Diddy, who is called Sean Combs with a bourgeois name, showed no regrets for his crimes, which indicates that the rapper could face a long prison sentence. The judge criticized Diddy sharply because he had denied essential facts and his guilt in his process. “Combs contested his actual guilt with all determination and did so even after the negotiation,” said the judge. “He did not admit his guilt and he showed no regrets for the actual crime,” the “” writes.
Today P. Diddy is on trial to accept the judgment for two charges for the “transfer of people and the exercise of prostitution” – he had already been guilty on these points. While the public prosecutor calls for eleven years in prison, Diddy asks for a punishment of around 14 months, although he had already served in custody for more than twelve months.
