He made many headlines, now he moves in at “Celebrity Big Brother”. Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht says: “I know how it is to really be locked up.”
After the prison, the TV is now waiting: actors and celebrity son Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (“Die Wilden Kerle”) moves into the “Celebrity Big Brother” house. Sat.1 presented the 33-year-old as other resident of the new season of the format, in which celebrities in little space, monitored and isolated from the outside world.
Ochsenknecht – about which there had been all sorts of headlines in the past few months – was optimistic to be able to master the task. “I know what it is like to really be locked up -” Celebrity Big Brother “is not a problem for me,” he said before he moved in.
Ochsenknecht sprout on jail: “A very reflective time”
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, offspring of the Ochsenknecht clan around father Uwe and mother Natascha, had caused a stir in the summer with an involuntary tour of German prisons. Due to an unpaid hotel bill of 14,000 euros, he was arrested at Hamburg Airport and delivered to Austria via several stations. There the proceedings against him were terminated against a fine of 18,000 euros.
Later, Ochsenknecht Junior said that he was able to gain good things after his time in prison – “a very reflective time” was “in the end”. However, it is questionable whether he has a lot of time to think about at “Celebrity Big Brother” – something is constantly going on on the show. You have to deal with the roommates, compete in games and be able to be cut off from the outside world.
Construction site charm hits luxury
Other candidates in this year’s season include modemacher Harald Glööckler, actress Désirée Nick and boy band singer Marc Terenzi. The first residents moved in on Saturday. Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is to add to the first big live show on Monday evening (8:15 p.m., Sat.1 and Joyn).
Thematically, the stars and asterisks are very uncomfortable this year. This time the candidates live in a kind of shell – between wheelbarrows, gravel and sacks of mortar. The set is in Cologne.
As Sat.1 also reveals, there is also a – previously secret – second area, called “sample apartment” and much more luxurious. The blatant difference between the two worlds is likely to provoke conflicts among the residents.
