At the premiere of the musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman” there was a big surprise: her first public reunion since the end of her marriage.

Lopez beamed in a spectacular robe by Harris Reed – Brown Floral Time with black overlay, which is reminiscent of a spider and fits perfectly with her role. Affleck appeared classically in the dark blue suit, was anything but tense. On the contrary: he gallantly helped her over the carpet, both chatted and laughed together. The fact that the two showed up together was not a PR campaign, but has a reason. Affleck produced the film as an executive producer about his company Artist Equity, which he founded together with colleague and friend Matt Damon. And Lopez knows exactly what she owes to him. Before the film demonstration, she addressed her ex-husband: “Thank you very much, this film would not have been created without Ben and without Artist Equity.”

What Lopez did not speak out at the premiere, but revealed in interviews from the past few days: The filming saved them through the severe phase of separation. “It was a really hard time,” she confessed to the CBS news show. “Every moment on the set, every moment when I played this role, I was so happy because it wasn’t great at home.”

A love comeback does not seem to mean this joint appearance, although there were already several on-off phases of the two: in 2002 getting to know each other, engagement, then in 2004 the separation under the pressure of the public.
