Where is Chapalcó located?

Chapalcó is a town in Adolfo Alsina partyin the southwest of the province of Buenos Aires. It is located about 540 kilometers from the Autonomous City of Buenos Airesand approximately 30 kilometers from Carhué, the party’s main city. It is accessed mainly by Provincial Route 60 and National Route 33, which connect the region with Bahía Blanca, Pigüé and Trenque Lauquen.

Within a radius of 30 kilometers there are other small rural towns such as Rivera, Villa Maza and Gascónin addition to the famous Epecuén Lagoonone of the biggest tourist attractions in the area. Chapalcó preserves the spirit of the old rural colonies of Buenos Aires, with quiet streets, low houses and a countryside environment that invites you to relax.

How to go to Chapalcó

To get to Chapalcó from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, you can take the Riccheri Highway and then continue along the National Route 205 to Saladillo. From there, it is linked to the National Route 65 around July 9 and then with the National Route 33 heading towards Pigüé. Finally, the Provincial Route 60 until you reach the Adolfo Alsina district and follow the signposted detours towards Chapalcó.

The car trip takes approximately six and a half hoursand offers a picturesque tour through the interior of Buenos Aires, passing through fields, lagoons and rural towns. It is a perfect journey for those looking to get to know a different corner of the province and enjoy a tranquility that is difficult to find in other tourist destinations.
