What Demon Hunter is about, the Prime Video original series
The story revolves around Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter who dies violently, but is resurrected by the Devil on one condition: he must capture demons who have escaped from hell and return them to their prison. As he takes on this supernatural mission, Halloran must confront not only hellish creatures, but also his own sins, past mistakes, and a life he left behind.
Over the course of the first season’s eight episodes, the plot spans from his estranged family to the emotional fallout of his return from the afterlife.
