HBO presented a trailer for the original drama series A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms (The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) during a panel at the New York Comic Con. It is a new story of the universe created by George R.R. Martin.
From the world of Westeros comes an endearing story centered on the adventures of an unexpected duo. The season of six episodes, which will last half an hour, will premiere on Sunday, January 18 at 11:00 p.m. on HBO Max. Subsequently, a new episode will be released every Sunday.
What A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms is about
A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes roam Westeros…a brave but naive young knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and his tiny squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell). Set in a time when the Targaryen line still occupies the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet faded, great destinies, powerful enemies and dangerous deeds await these unlikely and incomparable friends.
The cast of the series is completed with Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, Bertie Carvel like Baelor Targaryen, Danny Webb as Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Sam Spruell like Maekar Targaryen, Shaun Thomas like Raymun Fossoway, Finn Bennett like Aerion Targaryen, Edward Ashley as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Tanzyn Crawford like Tanselle, Henry Ashton like Daeron Targaryen, Youssef Kerkour as Steely Pate, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor like Plummer and Daniel Monks as Ser Manfred Dondarrion.
George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker (who is also showrunner) are the co-creators/executive producers of the series. As well as Sarah Bradshaw, Owen Harris, Ryan Condal and Vince Gerardis are executive producers and Owen Harris and Sarah Adina Smith are directors.
A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms is a new series from the Game of Thrones universe. All seasons of Game of Thrones, as well as the first two seasons of House of The Dragon, are available on HBO MAX.
