Born on June 29, 1934, Toni stood out as a journalist and columnist specialized in shows linked to cinema, theater, radio and television in Argentina, where he worked with the greatest of each era.

His career began in 1955 in the magazine Criterio, where he published signed articles in the Politics section. Between 1958 and 1984 he was part of the journalistic team of the newspaper La Razón.
In 1966 he joined Excelsior radio, where he hosted the Show Reporter program, a title he also used for the magazine he founded that same year and which years later became a website. For 15 years he was a member of the Rivadavia radio staff and worked alongside figures such as Antonio Carrizo, Cacho Fontana, Héctor Larrea and Juan Carlos Mareco. His work continued in National Radio, Radio El Mundo and Radio 10. In his extensive career he attended numerous film festivals, including 16 years at the Cannes Festival.
On television, he achieved wide notoriety on Nuevediario, the news program on Channel 9, where he served for seven years and marked a true milestone in the field. Later he participated in the series Controversy at the bar, directed by Gerardo Sofovich, for five seasons.
His popularity also led him to the big screen. During his time in cinema, he acted in films such as behind the screen (2015), Blackie: a life in black and white (2012), The crazy clinic (1988), The craziest drivers in the world (1988) and Explosive brigade (1986), among other titles.
