Video Podcasts Spotify will soon appear in Netflix. Both companies have announced a collaboration to bring a selection of podcasts from Spotify Studios and The Ringer to the Netflix platform.
The video podcasts will be available on Netflix in the US in early 2026, and soon in other markets. More titles will be available on the platform as the collaboration continues.
Initial titles include The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Zach Lowe Show, The McShay Show, The Rewatchables, Conspiracy Theories and more.
The success of video podcasts
This decision comes amid the rise of video podcasts, with YouTube being the most popular platform to consume them. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandoshad floated the idea of adding video podcasts to the platform in April 2025, citing their popularity and stating that the company is “constantly looking for all types of content and creators” to include on the platform. YouTube is also a major competitor to Netflix.

This offers more options to creators and opens up an opportunity for completely new distribution.”
Spotify also recently signed a deal ChatGPT which allows users to receive personalized music and podcast recommendations after starting a conversation on ChatGPT.
