Argentina will be present with two proposals and one of them will be “Yiya” Flow’s new original series in co-production with Kuarzo and Idealismo Contents. Directed by Mariano Hueter and written by Marcos Carnevale, which tells the story of Yiya Murano, the first serial killer in Argentine history. This captivating series about scams and poisonings in the 70s, features in its cast Cristina Banegas, Julieta Zylberberg, Pablo Rago, Diego Cremonesi, Mónica Antonópulos, Cecilia Dopazo and Carlos Portaluppiamong many others.

The other is “Daughter of Fire, Revenge of the Bastard.”the new Disney+ drama series, starring Eugenia “China” Suárezwhich will be released soon on the streaming service. The series, which was seen for the first time at the Locarno Festival, also includes Ana Polvorosa, Omar Ayuso, María León and the rising Lucía Diez in its cast.

Finally, the actor Javier Cámara winner of two Goya Awards, and Diego San José, creator of multi-award-winning series as recognized as “Celeste” or the “Vota Juan” saga, will arrive in Mar del Plata to present “Jakarta” new original series from Movistar Plus+, co-produced by 100 Balas (The Mediapro Studio) and Buendía Estudios Canarias. The United States will be present with two proposals equally impressive. The first is the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s hit series, “Landman” premiering Sunday, November 16, 2025 on Paramount+. Co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, “Landman” stars Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton, Oscar nominee Demi Moore, Oscar nominee Andy Garcia, Oscar nominee Sam Elliott and Ali Larter.

“Landman” is a sweeping exploration of power, ambition and consequence in the modern American West. The other title, “All Her Fault” stars Golden Globe and Emmy winner Sarah Snook, alongside Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, Michael Peña, Sophia Lillis, Abby Elliott, Daniel Monks, Jay Ellis, Thomas Cocquerel, Duke McCloud and Kartiah Vergara.

This suburban thriller follows Marissa Irvine (Snook), who arrives to pick up her young son Milo after his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door is not a mother she recognizes. He doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. As every parent’s worst nightmare begins to unfold, new questions arise that lead to dark secrets, revealing cracks in the Irvines’ seemingly perfect world, until everything is torn apart.

The series is produced by Carnival Films, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group. Megan Gallagher is the writer, creator and executive producer, alongside executive producers Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films, Sarah Snook, Minkie Spiro (director of episodes 101-104), Christine Sacani and Jennifer Gabler Rawlings. The series was adapted from the successful novel of the same name by Andrea Mara, who also participates as an associate producer.

The Mar del Plata Series programming is completed with two Scandinavian proposalsthe first is “The Danish Woman” a funny comedy in which a former member of the Danish secret services (the winner of the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Festival for “The Commune” Tryne Dyrholm) starts a new life in Iceland after her retirement, but when problems begin to arise in the building in Reykjavík where she has moved, she decides to use old methods to solve them.

The second is “A Sami Wedding” a Norwegian series created by Ase Kathrin Vuolab that could be seen at the recent Toronto Festival. Set in the Sami culture, the story follows the steps of Garen (Sarah Margrethe Oskal), a lower-class woman who believes she has found her lucky break in the imminent marriage of her son to a girl from a wealthy family, for which she sets out to organize a perfect wedding, although logically there will be no shortage of inconveniences.
