On October 12, 2024, four days before her death, the influencer saw her boyfriend for what she didn’t know would be the last time, something that Cassidy reflected on in an emotional TikTok recently published.
“Today, October 12, one year ago, was the last day I spent with Liam.”Cassidy began. “The truth is that I feel completely stunned. I think someone could slap me and I wouldn’t even flinch.”
“I wanted to make this video because I wanted to express how important it is to remind your loved ones how much you love them,” she continued. “I know I always say it, but you never know what tomorrow brings.”
Cassidy accompanied him on the first part of the trip, but left a few days before his death.
“I was sitting on the couch, expressing to him how much I’m going to miss him, how much I love him,” she told the camera with tears in her eyes. “Honestly, it’s very strange to remember it because it was such a long and heartfelt farewell. He looked at me and said: ‘[Kate]you’re going to miss your flight. You act like it’s the last time you’re going to see me.’ And I had no idea that was literally the last time I saw him.”
He added: “I’m very, very happy that Liam and I had that last farewell as it was.”.
