Anna Netrebko (50) apparently cancels all upcoming performances for the coming weeks. Among other things, concerts were planned in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, in the Scala in Milan and in the Zurich Opera House. For the time being, Netrebko wants to “retire from concert life”, like the Russian opera singer.

“After careful consideration, I have made the extremely difficult decision to withdraw from concert life for the time being,” it says. For her it is “not the right time” to “perform and make music”. Netrebko hopes that her audience can understand this decision. According to the report, the evening with her husband, Yusif Eyvazov (44), in Hamburg, which was originally planned for March 2, will be postponed to September 7, 2022.
