What Invincible is about: an extraordinary child, the Prime Video premiere
Based on a true story, Invincible: An Outstanding Child focuses on austina boy who faces a double condition: osteogenesis imperfecta and autism. With bones fragile like glass and a unique way of understanding the world, his life becomes a constant challenge, not only for him, but also for his entire family.
Told from Austin’s voice, the plot shows the raw momentsbut also the unexpected joys. From the first fractures to the late discoveries about his diagnosis, the film avoids gratuitous cheap shots and opts for an honest narrative. His story does not revolve around individual improvement, but rather the fellowship that supports the family.
The film also portrays adult conflicts: a father struggling with alcoholism, a mother faced with medical decisions, and a younger brother growing up under the shadow of constant demands. Everyone, without exception, also goes through their own battles.
