Self care for him
Flaconi Advent calendar for men 2025 in the test: 24 days of care and style

Care, perfume and a lot of self-care can be found in the Flaconi Advent calendar for men. You can find out whether this will save you from gray hair on the festival of love star-Test.

On a dark December morning, many of us find it difficult to get out of the warm bed and into the dreary, gray everyday life of the office. Unless there is a good reason to get up. Flaconi offers this again every year with its Advent calendar and 24 little surprises that well-groomed men want to discover. In recent years, the beauty company has impressed customers with its strong price-performance ratio, high-quality branded products and even some original sizes. But he can Will it maintain this standard in 2025 – or will it go one better? Let’s find out!

Flaconi Advent calendar: This is how we tested it

To do this, I professionally disassembled the Flaconi Advent calendar for men, sorted products, compared prices, and chose favorites. For sample sizes, I calculated the price based on the original products.

My benchmark: the cheapest offer in a price comparison. And because honesty is part of testing: Be careful, there will be spoilers. If you want to be surprised, jump straight to the conclusion. For everyone else: enough theory – now let’s unpack it.

Packet with character: two scents that enchant

This time, Flaconi has included six fragrances for men in the calendar – and the selection is remarkably diverse. CK One and Issey Miyake Le Sel d’Issey are classics: light, fresh, perfect for the office. Philosia by Korres completes the round with a clear, woody character, while Stronger With You by Armani is more sweet and warm.

Things get exciting with two niche fragrances: Desirtoxic by M. Micallef and Sugar Leather by Une Nuit Nomade. And what can I say? I am enchanted.

Sugar Leather is the first leathery scent that really excites me. Its sweet, almost Christmas-like cherry-cinnamon note combines harmoniously with the leather base without overpowering it. Elegant, durable, present – and yet never intrusive. A scent that fits perfectly into the pre-Christmas season.

Desirtoxic really blew me away. A balance of spicy wood notes and fresh citrus energy – powerful, masculine, but not loud. A scent with personality. Flaconi demonstrates the courage to choose and a feeling for quality.

By the way: A perfume atomizer is also included with the calendar. Practical for traveling or weekend trips.

  • CK One Mini, Eau de Toilette 15 ml (approx. 4.50 euros)
  • Emporio Armani, Stronger With You, perfume 15 ml (approx. 10.50 euros)
  • KORRES Philosia, Eau de Toilette 10 ml (approx. 4.20 euros)
  • Une Nuit Nomade Sugar Leather Perfume 8 ml (approx. 12.80 euros)
  • Issey Miyake, Le Sel d’Issey, Eau de Toilette 4 ml (approx. 2.85 euros)
  • M. Micallef Jewels Desirtoxic perfume 10 ml (approx. 19.90 euros)
  • Perfume atomizer (5.56 euros)
  • Total price: just under 60 euros

Masks cheer up tired men

Three face masks from the Flaconi Advent calendar for men

Admittedly, some men still shy away from face masks. Completely wrong. If you value a well-groomed appearance, you can beautify your face with a mask. Flaconi sees it the same way and includes three different masks. I was particularly interested in the Hydra Vegetal by Yves Rocher. Why?

As someone who regularly uses an LED mask, a moisture booster was just what I needed afterwards – and the mask delivers: it soothes, relaxes and leaves the skin noticeably supple. I am convinced.

  • STARSKIN VIP The Gold Mask (approx. 5.50 euros)
  • STARSKIN Essentials Sunset Strips, Blackhead Strips (11 euros)
  • HYDRA VEGETAL SOS Moisturizing Mask 75 ml (9.24 euros)
  • Total price: just under 25 euros

Flaconi Advent calendar for men: shower gel and shampoo

Five shower gels from the Flaconi Advent calendar

Shower gel from SEB MAN is almost a tradition in the Flaconi calendar. The full size will be available in 2025. There are also three travel sizes from other manufacturers and an organic shampoo.

I tested The Multitasker by SEB Man – the 3-in-1 shower gel for hair, beard and body. It cleans thoroughly and smells pleasant. Exactly what you need in the morning: uncomplicated care.

  • SEB MAN The Multitasker Hair, Beard & Body Wash Shower Gel 250 ml (around 8 euros)
  • L’OCCITANE Verbena shower gel 70 ml (approx. 3 euros)
  • Scandinavian Biolabs Organic Pilixin Hair Shampoo 100 ml (8.50 euros)
  • AHAVA For Him Time To Energize Cleansing Gel 40 ml (approx. 5.21 euros)
  • Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel 8 ml (approx. 2.16 euros)
  • Total price: just under 27 euros

Smooth appearance: Serums and face cream make men shine

The serums and face creams of the Flaconi Advent calendar

My personal highlights include the serums and creams. This year, Flaconi really turned it up: five creams, three serums. I was particularly impressed by the serum from Rosental Organics: absorbs quickly, smoothes, smells fantastic – and noticeably smooths the skin. In combination with Kiehl’s Facial Fuel it is the perfect morning routine for me. It leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin, is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, smells citrusy and fresh – and unfortunately there is only one sample size in the calendar. Sure, some sizes are just for trying out and that’s exactly what makes the calendar so appealing: discovering, comparing, finding your favorite products.

  • EISENBERG Baume Essentiel Hydratant Face Cream 8 ml (approx. 4.60 euros)
  • Acnemy Zitcontrol Face Cream 40 ml (15.19 euros)
  • Shiseido Men Skin Empowering Cream face cream 10 ml (approx. 11.37 euros)
  • Kiehl’s Facial Fuel face cream 15 ml (approx. 3.60 euros)
  • MADARA Vitamin C Illuminating Recovery Face Cream 15 ml (around 8 euros)
  • Rosental Organics Niacinamide Serum Pore-Refining Concentrate Facial Serum 30 ml (19.90 euros)
  • MADARA Botanic Niacinamide Alternative 5in1 Serum Facial Serum 15 ml (9.95 euros)
  • Murad Resurgence Retinol Youth Renewal Serum Facial Serum 30 ml (44.90 euros)
  • Total price: just under 118 euros

From the crown of your head to your smile: hair gel and toothpaste

Hair and dental care in the Flaconi Advent calendar

A classic of the Flaconi calendar is undoubtedly the Forming Cream from American Crew. If I remember correctly, the manufacturer’s Fiber Cream was in the Advent calendar last year. That’s why I fall for the hair gel from Wella, even though I’m not a big fan of hair gel. The Pearl Styler from Wella is still convincing. Unlike normal hair gels, styling is easier because the styler doesn’t weigh down the hair too much and make it fall flat.

In addition, the gel does not dry too quickly, so errors can be corrected in a relaxed manner. Once it is dry, it provides excellent, strong hold without sticking. As with most gels, however, it creates a wet look. For daily use, I tend to stick with a mattifying pomade. But the Wella gel is perfect for the slick mat in fine company.

  • American Crew Styling Forming Cream styling cream 50 g (5.40 euros)
  • Wella EIMI Pearl Styler Hair Gel 100 ml (7.40 euros)
  • Marvis Whitening Mint toothpaste 25 ml (4.95 euros)
  • Total price: just under 18 euros

Flaconi Advent Calendar 2025: Conclusion

Become knows, knows: there is quality here. In my test, the value of the goods added up to just under 250 euros – with a retail price of 99.95 euros. A strong relationship, even if Flaconi himself states a higher value.

Compared to other Advent calendars – at just under 100 euros, Flaconi is at the top end in terms of price, but also in terms of content. Hardly any frills, few filling items, but lots of well thought-out care products, two outstanding scents.

Particularly nice: Many items are suitable as unisex products. Maybe even an idea for shared care moments with your partner.

In short: The Flaconi Advent calendar for men 2025 is a stylish mix of curiosity, quality and everyday luxury – and therefore money well spent, across gender boundaries.
