The operation, ordered by the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 47, allowed the artist to be located and culminated in the arrest of her ex-partner, accused of gender violence.
How was the procedure to find the whereabouts of Lourdes Fernández
The procedure took place this Thursday night, when more than 15 members of the City Police, with support from the Scientific Police and the SAME, entered the building at 2300 Ravignani Street.
As it turned out, the court order authorized the search of the entire building, from the storage rooms, garages, common spaces and the third floor, and to use force if necessary, including the participation of a locksmith.
According to the court file, the mother declared that on October 4 she would have had the last personal contact with Lourdes. On that occasion the singer was nervous and had injuries to her face and head. “I fell from a ladder,” Lourdes reportedly told her mother.
Testimonies from friends confirmed that the singer sounded fearful in her last communications, while her ex-partner exercised control and social isolation. Given these indications, Judge Santiago Bignone concluded that an urgent search was essential to determine the whereabouts and state of health of Lourdes.
Finally, Lourdes was found inside the department of García Gómezvisibly upset and in vulnerable conditions. His ex-partner tried to escapebut he was subdued and detained by the police.
