Victoria Beckham’s affair speculation surrounding David was “like a storm”

Victoria Beckham has spoken out about previous speculation about affairs in her marriage to David Beckham. The presenter asked the designer directly: “You’ve struggled with speculation about your marriage throughout your career. I know David addressed that in the documentary. Can you just explain how you and David dealt with it?”

“You know…we had so much that we were facing and we talked about it because we recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and by the way, people said it wasn’t going to work,” Victoria explained on the podcast. The 51-year-old emphasized: “26 years. We had so much to deal with and we were always there for each other and weathered the damn storm.”

The affair allegations had already become the subject of David’s own Netflix documentary in October 2023. At that time, the former soccer star spoke about the reports surrounding an alleged affair with his former assistant Rebecca Loos in 2004.

Rebecca Loos had expressed her dissatisfaction with David’s handling of the scandal. She explained: “Yes, the stories were terrible, but they are true. He talks about it in the documentary that this is ultimately his private life and he closes it.” She criticized: “I think it’s one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It’s another thing to mislead the public.”

Neither the name “Loos” nor the word “affair” are mentioned in the Netflix series. David instead spoke about his wife, saying: “Victoria is everything to me, seeing her hurt was incredibly difficult.”
