Rod Stewart was declared this Friday Guest of Honor of the City of Buenos Aires by the Buenos Aires Legislature. The British artist is in the country giving a series of shows at the Movistar Arena.

Today, October 24, the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires declared the renowned British musician and composer a Guest of Honor, through Declaration No. 171 of the year 2025, promoted by legislator Pablo Donati.

I have never received a distinction of this type before, in any of the cities I have been to in my entire life.. It is a great honor. Today is the last of the 3 sold out concerts and believe me I don’t say this often, but it is the best audience we have ever had. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. The 80-year-old rock legend received the distinction this afternoon at the Eva Perón Hall. The recognition was voted on last July 3, at the initiative of legislator Pablo Donati and the Liberal Republican Commitment bloc.

Rod Stewart’s time in Buenos Aires

Stewart is in the country to give a series of shows at the Movistar Arena, tonight will be the last presentation. The shows are part of their tour “One Last Time” Tour.
