The former Daft Punk member joined Fred Again..to Erol Alkandirector of the Phantasy Sound label, already Peter Winterfounder of Ed Banger Records and originally manager of Daft Punk themselves, for a surprise DJ set at the Pompidou Center in Paris. The occasion coincided with the 20th anniversary celebration of French record label Because Music.

Thomas Bangalter made his last live appearance with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christothe other half of Daft Punk, during The Weeknd’s performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
Since the duo’s dissolution in 2021, Thomas Bangalter has composed music for several projects, including a French ballet and an absurdist comedy film based on Salvador Dali.
Still, at the beginning of the year the duo joined the video game Fortniteadding songs from their catalog. His solo career took off in 2023 with “Mythologies”their first album.
