After his shot killed camerawoman Halyna Hutchins, the deceased’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. It mentions, among other things, Baldwin and the production company. In addition, two other crew members have accused Baldwin and other production employees.

Armorer and assistant director made mistakes

Baldwin explains in the interview that he relied on the armorer and the assistant director. “When someone whose job it is to ensure the safety of a gun gives the gun to someone else whose job it is to be the second layer of protection for the safety of a gun, then the assumption is that the gun is safe too “, he said. “The joke is you don’t want the actors to do the security check.
