Prince Andrew’s abuse charge: Prince Charles lends him millions

The future king Prince Charles should fix it: Prince Andrew is missing millions of pounds to pay the settlement with the abuse victim Virginia Roberts. Now he should be able to borrow the money.

Prince Charles is digging deep into his pockets to bail out his little brother Prince Andrew. As “The Sun” reports, the Duke of York has to resort to a loan from Prince Charles in the amount of seven million pounds in order for the comparison with Virgina Roberts to take place.

In January, a New York City court gave the green light for Roberts to sue Prince Andrew for undisclosed damages. In order to avert the process, the prince, who is accused of abusing Roberts, who was a minor at the time, agreed to a settlement in an unknown amount of millions. Virgina Roberts claimed she was forced to have sex with the Duke three times when she was 17, on orders from the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The British royal family considered how they could get the money together

Although the terms of the contract were to remain top secret, various media outlets reported a settlement of around £12million. Money that Prince Andrew does not have in liquid form. To pay off the costs, his ski chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, is also up for sale. But the right buyer with the necessary change is a long time coming. However, Prince Andrew is obliged to pay Virginia Roberts the compensation amount within a certain period of time. A source told The Sun: “There have been family discussions about how to take a little bit from here and a little bit from there”.

Now there seems to be a solution to the Duke of York’s financial plight. His older brother Prince Charles is said to be lending him £7million from his personal fortune until he can sell the Ski Chalet and pay him back. As long as the sum has not been paid to Virginia Roberts, the official lawsuit has not yet been withdrawn.

Attorney David Boies, representing Roberts, said attorneys on both sides informed the judge that an agreement in principle had been reached and they would seek a dismissal of the lawsuit within a month. The settlement means the civil case will not go to a jury trial and Andrew will no longer be able to be questioned under oath by Ms Roberts’ attorneys.

The Duke said in his statement that he “regrets his association with Epstein” and pledged to demonstrate it “by supporting the fight against the evils of the sex trade and its victims.” Prince Andrew continues to deny all allegations against him and maintains his innocence.
