From surgery in front of the camera
The daughter of an orthopedist and an anesthetist, who grew up in the Berlin district of Pankow, studied medicine at Berlin’s Humboldt University after graduating from high school in 1992. After her doctorate in 2002, she worked in surgery for two years. But her further path should lead her to film and television.
Already in her youth she got her first appearances as a photo model for magazines like “Bravo”. At the age of 17 she made her film debut in “Deutschfieber”, but it was only later that she gave her career in front of the camera the decisive boost to take care of her actual path in the field of medicine. She learned her craft at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.
Film and television made her grow
Christiane Paul achieved her breakthrough on the big screen at the latest through her engagement in the 2007 production “Neues vom WiXXer”.
