Oscar winner Renée Zellweger used her break many years ago in a very productive way. She studied international law at university.
Apparently, actress Renée Zellweger (52) had paragraphs for breakfast for quite a while. The “Bridget Jones” star says he went to law school during his six-year hiatus from 2010. More specifically, she studied international law at the University of California.
During her break from the film business, she specifically wanted to do things outside of her normal work. When asked if Zellweger graduated with the goal of one day working in the field, the Oscar winner replied, “I’m not sure.” But it’s one of her “favourite things” and she’s also gained a whole new ability: “Now I can bore you to death at dinner parties. Ask any of my friends.”
Strong comeback including second golden boy
In 2010, Zellweger suddenly retired from show business after a career in Hollywood that had spanned almost 20 years. that depression was the reason for her time off: “I wasn’t healthy. I didn’t take care of myself was the last item on my priority list.”
She returned all the more impressively in 2016, including with the third part of the “Bridget Jones” success series, “Bridget Jones’ Baby”. In 2020, she snagged her second Oscar of her career and her first for Best Actress for her performance as singer Judy Garland in the biopic Judy. She received her first golden boy in 2004 as a supporting actress in the drama “Cold Mountain”. She also won a Golden Globe for both roles, four of which she has in total.
Next up is Zellweger in the crime series The Thing About Pam. The story is based on true events and is about a real murder case. Where and when “The Thing About Pam” will appear in Germany is not yet known.
