In the series “Die Ochsenknechts”, Natascha Ochsenknecht gives private insights into her physical and mental trauma. She even reports a near-death experience.
In the reality TV show, Natascha Ochsenknecht takes the camera team to her osteopath and tells a sad story from her past that still influences her today. Incidentally, she first mentions that she is not allowed to train her stomach and back properly and that she has recurring pain as a result, which the osteopath can help her to alleviate. She goes on to explain that all of her pain was caused by an intolerance to birth control pills.
As she lies on the treatment table, a large scar can be seen from the pubic area to under the bra, all the way across Ochsenknecht’s stomach. She says that she keeps having pains in her intestines, her stomach was completely cut open and she had many internal adhesions that had to be removed.
Ochsenknecht vomited up to twelve times a day
“I vomited for years and you always thought model, anorexic,” she says in an interview. The people around them asked Ochsenknecht: “Do you have mental problems, do you have relationship problems?” Then she confides to the editor across the street that she sometimes vomited twelve times a day for more than ten years. Nobody is said to have taken her complaints seriously at the time. In the last few months before the final diagnosis, Natascha Ochsenknecht even slept sitting up because she couldn’t breathe, she says.
At this point, Natascha already had two sons, Wilson Gonzalez and Jimi Blue, with Uwe Ochsenknecht, but things got worse and worse. Until one day she described symptoms of her symptoms to a doctor, which made the doctor prick up his ears: “When I lie in bed at night, I have the feeling that a subway is going through my stomach,” Ochsenknecht says. After a further examination, the doctor was finally able to identify an anomaly, although he had already listened to Ochsenknecht at least 30 times, as she says. The diagnosis: A severe narrowing of the main vessel called the celiac trunk, the first of the three visceral vessels of the abdominal aorta.
The intestinal noises that were heard when listening are said to have been caused by the blood, which was no longer able to get through due to the constipation and “rebounded”, as the mother of three reports.
Her ex-husband Uwe Ochsenknecht brought her to Switzerland for an operation, since her medical case is probably quite rare. The final diagnosis was that Natascha Ochsenknecht had an allergy to the birth control pill and residues had accumulated in the vessel, almost to the point of complete blockage. If the vessel had burst when the children were born, she would have bled to death. The scar broke when Cheyenne Ochsenknecht was born, and Natascha Ochsenknecht’s stomach was opened three times.
After the second operation, there was even a near-death experience. Ochsenknecht woke up the next morning after the operation and felt like he was suffocating. She just managed to press the button that tells the hospital staff that help is needed.
Natascha Ochsenknecht couldn’t breathe anymore
“I couldn’t breathe at all, I couldn’t move and then this scar. I knew that if I coughed now, my scar would probably burst.” The last thing she saw was the nurse coming in screaming, doctors followed and everyone was fighting for Ochsenknecht’s life. “I saw four angels fluttering there,” she says. The angels then told her that her time had not yet come and that she should cough. The scar then tore, but she was able to breathe again. Another operation followed, including abdominal wall stabilization from the inside in the form of mesh and a disk.
“When you’re seriously ill, you have to make the best of it, but in the end that made me stronger and stronger,” says Natascha Ochsenknecht.
From Monday, February 21, 8:15 p.m. there will be a new episode every week on Sky of the new reality TV format “Dies Ochsenknechts”.
