Nation dictates a free and self-managed course to train on Nature Tourism

This course is part of La Ruta Natural, the Nature Tourism development and promotion program promoted by the Nature Tourism Development Directorate of the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Strategic Development.

Its objective is to train the sector regarding the importance of conserving natural spaces, the key elements for the management and development of sustainable Nature Tourism.

The course, self-managed and free of charge, lasts 30 hours and is mainly aimed at managers of tourist destinations, public bodies, staff of protected natural areas, tour providers and operators, the academic sector, NGOs and host communities.

Some of the topics addressed are: concept and opportunities of Nature Tourism, sustainable tourism, nature tourist profile, segment statistics, development and sustainability, conservation and protected areas, management tools and experiences.
