Jakob Gasteiger shows his colour-intensive, luminous neon pictures. To do this, he uses a comb-like cardboard tool to apply acrylic paint to the canvas or wood. The pictures of the native of Salzburg, who lives in Vienna and in the Waldviertel, could be seen at the Albertina in Vienna last August.
Andreas Werner’s paintings look like hybrid constructions made of rockets, robots, temple complexes or pieces of furniture. Other works by the native German, who works in Vienna and Lower Austria, can currently be seen at the Kunsthalle in Krems.
Exhibition on view until May 15th
