The President inaugurated an Immersive Room in the Kirchner Cultural Center building

Accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Tristan Bauerand by the owner of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (Incaa), Luis Puenzothe president toured the space and spoke with relatives of Piazzolla, including his last wife Laura Climbing Piazzollapresident of the foundation that bears her name, and her grandson and vice president Daniel Villaflor Piazzolla.

Bauer, for his part, said that “the inauguration of this room, which has the best technical characteristics and international standards, is very important, neither more nor less than with this event on Ástor Piazzolla”.

“In the CCK the tickets are free and free and it seems to me that the public is going to be pleasantly surprised,” he stressed.

At the same time, Laura Climbing Piazzolla highlighted: “This means nothing less than that Argentina pays a wonderful tribute to my husband, in this very special place”.

Located on the second floor of the venue and equipped with state-of-the-art projectors and a 24-channel sound system, the space generates a feeling of immersion in an enveloping environment through projections on the walls and floor and the use of sound spatialization.

“Surround sound will allow new details to be discovered and complete the sensory experience by spatializing musical works and using the original multitrack recordings, so that artists will be able to exhibit their works in a new format that will offer the public a new way of address, feel and enjoy the productions”, it was officially reported.

The immersive room can be visited from today during the usual hours of the exhibitions: from Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Ticket reservations are not required and are entered on a first-come, first-served basis.
