Harry and Iris Wijnvoord remarried after their civil marriage. The couple celebrated on a ship.
Harry Wijnvoord (72) and his wife Iris said yes again this Thursday (March 17). The couple, who have been legally married since last year, tied the knot at a dream wedding on a luxurious cruise ship in the middle of the Rhine. The travel channel sonnenklar.TV reported live on television and also gave fans an insight into the celebration.
At the ceremony, it became emotional as soon as the bride moved in, with the “DSDS” star Mike Leon Grosch (45) providing the musical accompaniment and the couple had to grab the handkerchief. The bride wore an elegant, fitted robe with a train and sparkling appliqués on the low back. After saying yes, a multi-tiered cake was cut together. Among the guests were Ulli Potofski (69) and Jörg Draeger (76). In April 2019, Harry Wijnvoord and his wife Iris appeared together in public for the first time. In mid-May 2021, the couple announced their engagement.
TV comeback is imminent
Wijnvoord is currently preparing for the long-awaited TV comeback of its cult show “The price is hot” at the end of March/beginning of April. In the show, which ran on RTL from 1989 to 1997, candidates had to estimate the price of various products as precisely as possible. “It’s a logical conclusion that the show is coming back,” said the Dutch moderator recently in an interview with spot on news. The fact that he was allowed to lead the show again made him “particularly proud and happy”.
