Actor Oscar Isaac (43) definitely deserved the award for best style superhero with this performance. The star of the new Marvel series Moon Knight, which will be released on Disney+ on March 30, 2022, literally rocked the premiere in London. For the event, he donned a light gray suit by designer Thom Browne, but instead of suit pants he paired it with a matching skirt.
He drew even more attention to his legs with two different socks. It seems to have been one of Isaac’s long-held dreams to walk the red carpet in a skirt. . Accordingly, “Oscar has been a fan for ages and has always wanted to appear in skirts at press days and events”. Last Monday (March 14) Isaac came to the “Moon Knight” premiere in Berlin in a classic pants suit.
From villain to hero
In the new series “Moon Knight”, in which Ethan Hawke (51) also plays a leading role, Isaac embodies the eponymous superhero. He stands out less because of his special abilities than because of a suffering from the many Marvel squad: Steven Grant (Isaac) has a dissociative identity disorder. One of his unconscious identities is mercenary Marc Spector, who has made many enemies over the course of his operations. But it also becomes supernatural: The “duo” has to realize that their fate is closely interwoven with that of Egypt’s most powerful gods.
Moon Knight does not portray Isaac’s first foray into the Marvel Universe. In 2016, he played a title character in the X-Men franchise, which is also based on the Marvel Comics. Albeit under clearly different signs: In “X-Men: Apocalypse” he lived up to his name Apocalypse and as a godlike villain threatened the continued existence of the entire world. In addition, he was virtually unrecognizable by the makeup artists and transformed into a beast with blue skin.
